Arsenal’s Laurent Koscielny took a nasty kick to the face during Wednesday’s match courtesy of Fenerbahce’s Webó and it was not a fake injury per soccer’s reputation. After some blood and some time on the pitch Koscielny was forced to leave the game. Ouch.

If Pierre Webo has something against Laurent Koscielny, he didn’t hide it very well on Wednesday.
Webo, a forward for Turkish club Fenerbache, kicked Arsenal defender Koscielny in the face as he tried to kick the ball 30 minutes into their UEFA Champions League qualifying game.

That’s Arsenal’s Laurent Koscielny taking a cleat to the face from an opponent during a Champions League playoff match against Fenerbahçe. It looks brutal and it was; the blow forced Koscielny to be subbed out and landed the Fenerbahçe player with a yellow card.
