Luka Jovic and Noah Okafor were both in doubt for tonight’s game between AC Milan and Cagliari at San Siro. However, as reported this morning, their presence in the squad for the clash has been confirmed.

Jovic missed the last two games due to an injury and Okafor, who came off the bench against Genoa, picked up a knock. Both were in doubt for tonight’s clash, therefore, but were able to return to training in recent days and have been called up.

This was confirmed by MilanNews, who were present at the Melia Hotel to see the arrival of the players, including the aforementioned duo. With Stefano Pioli seemingly showing the stars who’s the boss, it’s possible that we could see them in action tonight as well.

Jovic is still at 9 goals for the season and is surely keen on reaching double figures, while Okafor is currently at 6. As we discussed in a recent feature, Pioli would certainly help Milan by giving these two a chance in the final games, seeing as decisions must be made in the summer.

Olivier Giroud will be the starting striker and it remains to be seen if he will play the entire game, but most likely not.
