PLAYERS: Gareth Bale
Tottenham says Gareth Bale should be back in training ''within two weeks'' after spraining ligaments in his right ankle in the Europa League quarterfinal against FC Basel. Bale, who has scored 17 Premier League goals and is spearheading Spurs' bid to qualify for the Champions League next season, underwent a scan on Friday and his injury has responded positively to treatment. The Wales winger went down under challenge in the final minutes of Thursday's 2-2 draw with Basel in the first leg.
