Barcelona great Andres Iniesta has sung the praises of Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti.

Iniesta says Ancelotti's record speaks for itself.

He told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "There is little to say about Ancelotti.

"His career speaks for him. As a player and as a coach. Having the ability to coach Real Madrid twice, succeed on both occasions, return to a club of that size and make it work again is not easy.

"He has incredible merit."

Iniesta also spoke of Barca's teen pair Lamine Yamal and Pau Cubarsi: "On the one hand, it is exceptional that such young guys make it to the first team and play so well.

"On the other hand, I think these things are always the result of a team that is in crisis. In the middle is the example of Guardiola, who gave confidence to Pedro and Busquets, but put them in a more positive context.

"I don't think that such young players should pull a car as demanding as Bara's. And then you have to be careful, it is very difficult to manage these things between the need of a team and the desire of a child."
