Barcelona will be sticking with Robert Lewandowski next season up front, barring a major shock, but the future of 19-year-old Vitor Roque remains up in the air. The Brazilian looks as if he will be on the way out this summer, whether it be on loan or permanently.

The club seem to be pushing for a loan deal, but if an offer comes in for Roque that will make them a decent profit, the Blaugrana could consider it. Agent Andre Cury has said that a loan deal is off the table, but will sit down to discuss the matter with Sporting Director Deco in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile if Roque does end up leaving, and with Joao Felix’s future also uncertain, Matteo Moretto has told Football España that Barcelona will likely seek another nine in the transfer window.

If Roque were to leave, then it the only realistic alternative in the squad is Ferran Torres, who has shown patchy form operating through the middle, while struggling with his fitness this season. Youngster Marc Guiu could come into the side, and has shown promise, but is early on in his fledgling career. Guiu is yet to play a full match at senior level with either Barca Atletic or the first team, and it would be an enormous show of faith to go into another season with just Guiu as a natural alternative to what will be a  36-year-old Lewandowski.
