Manchester City midfielder Gareth Barry is making good progress in his recovery from a hernia operation but is not setting a comeback date. Barry has not played for Roberto Mancini's team this season after being sent for surgery over the summer, but he is now closing in on a return. He has got some minutes under his belt for the Elite Development Squad and hopes to return to Premier League action as soon as possible, although he will not be rushing things.
