Belgium coach Tedesco: Villa midfielder Tielemans never hides

Belgium coach Domenico Tedesco says he's happy with the form of Youri Tielemans.

Tielemans has complained about a lack of minutes since joining Aston Villa this summer, though featured in Belgium's Euro qualifying win against Latvia on Saturday.

"He puts in a lot of effort," said Tedesco.

"He's an intelligent guy, who is self-critical. It's true, he doesn't play a lot over at Villa, but he's not hiding behind that. I will always defend my players.

"For me, he didn't play too badly."
