According to a report from Bild, Milan defender Thiaw has attracted interest from Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid, while Bayer Leverkusen scouts will travel to Italy to watch Bologna‘s Riccardo Calafiori.

German paper Bild reports Real Madrid have set their sights on Milan centre-back Thiaw while Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen will scout Bologna’s Calafiori.

According to the report, Milan value their central defender at €30m. The ex-Schalke man is among Carlo Ancelotti’s options to replace Nacho, who will leave the Bernabeu at the end of his contract in June. Bild claims Madrid are already ‘working intensively’ on the German defender.

At the same time, Bayer Leverkusen have set their sights on Calafiori and scouts of the Bundesliga champions will watch the Italian defender in the next few games.

Calafiori has also been linked with a move to Juventus and according to the report, Bologna could sell him for €25m.

Calafiori joined Bologna from Basel for just €4m last summer.
