Bowen 'hugely proud' being West Ham's Player of the Year

Jarrod Bowen has been named West Ham United's Player of the Year.

The forward has broken the 20-goal barrier this season.

It's an amazing feeling to have been recognised by the people who cheer us on in every game, so I have to say a massive thank you to the fans. They've been brilliant throughout my four-and-a-half years here, and they've certainly helped me get to where I am today.

I feel like I've had a good year, and I think I've shown I can be effective in a variety of positions up front. I've missed some games through injury, but there have been lots of standout moments, and I'll never get bored of scoring goals!

I've loved my time at West Ham so far, and I'm really excited about what I can achieve here going forward. Let's hope we can finish off this season strongly next week, and then push on into next year."
