Chelsea are back in action this weekend against local rivals Tottenham.

It’s game week two of the new Premier League season, a season that Chelsea got off to a winning start last weekend by beating Everton at Goodison Park. The Blues hadn’t won there since 2017, so it was always going to be a tough game. But this weekend against Spurs, it is only going to get a lot tougher.

Sources: The very latest on Chelsea’s outgoings, including Hudson-Odoi, Ziyech, Kante, Jorginho, and more!

I’m concerned going into this game I can’t lie, I think Tottenham have done some great transfer business this window and did it early, and Antonio Conte has got them looking like a very good and dangerous team.

I think Thomas Tuchel will largely line-up with the same formation as against Everton, with just two changes.

I believe Marc Cucurella will start over Ben Chilwell purely because the latter is still being eased back in after injury. And I also believe there is a very slight chance that Armando Broja gets the nod up top over Kai Havertz, after his impressive cameo on Saturday.

My predicted line up:

(3-4-3): Mendy, Azpilicueta, Silva, Koulibaly: James, Kante, Jorginho, Cucurella: Sterling, Mount, Broja.
