Inter Milan are gearing up for weeks-long-festivities as they prepare to celebrate the twentieth Serie A title in their history.

Today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, detail the Nerazzurri’s plans. These will include a special concert at the San Siro and a new club anthem.

Inter are not quite mathematically assured to finish the season as Serie A champions.

But that is certainly a matter of “when” rather than “if.”

Inter could very well clinch the title in next week’s derby against AC Milan. A win would be enough to put them completely out of sight, though a draw would not.

On the other hand, if Inter fail to beat the Rossoneri, they could clinch the title the following weekend against Torino.

In any event, the Gazzetta note, the club are ready to celebrate.

Inter Serie A Title Celebration Plans Revealed

First of all, there would be the matter of an open-top bus parade by the team to celebrate the title.

Should Inter beat Milan in the derby next Monday, they will not hold that parade immediately after the match.

Rather, the bus parade would take place the following day, a Tuesday.

On the other hand, if Inter are to clinch the title the following weekend against Torino, then the parade would take place immediately after the match.

But that will not be all.

The Gazzetta report that there will also be a special concert to celebrate the title.

This will take place at the San Siro on May 19th. That will be the date of Inter’s final match of the Serie A season, against Lazio.

And the Gazzetta also reveal that Inter plan to unveil a new club anthem to commemorate this season’s title win.

The Nerazzurri will be adding a second star to their shirt in recognition of twenty titles. And there will be a new club anthem to boot.
