Celtic legend Henrik Larsson’s son has scored the third-fastest goal in UEFA Champions League history. Jordan Larsson is currently playing his football in Denmark with FC Copenhagen and has managed to get himself into the history books tonight after scoring after just 14 seconds.

His side are battling in the second leg of their Champions League third-round qualifier against Czech side Sparta Prague. Prague of course played Celtic a few years back in the Europa League and gave us a bit of a pasting both home and away. It was during the fabled Ten-in-a-row season when Covid prohibited fans from entering grounds.

Larsson junior was previously linked with the Bhoys when he was leaving Spartak Moscow in Russia. It wasn’t to be though and the King of Kings son decided to move elsewhere and kick-start his career again. Maybe it’s a blessing in disguise as he would need to go some to have lived up to his father’s name in a Celtic jersey. Plus he would have the nightmare of being continually compared to him.

He seems to be doing well anyway but we don’t want him getting FC Copenhagen into the UEFA Champions League group stages this season, as it would mean the Glasgow side losing out on an additional £900,000 for the 10-year coefficient. Copenhagen are the only side higher ranked than the Hoops and it would mean losing out on more cash.

Meanwhile, watch baby Larsson score against Sparta Prague earlier tonight…
