Roma skipper Francesco Totti hailed his "most beautiful record" after he equalled the most career goals in a Rome derby during last night's 1-1 draw against Lazio. Totti cancelled out Hernanes' opener when he slid in a 56th-minute penalty to draw level with Dino Da Costa and Marco Delvecchio's derby record of nine goals. The 36-year-old, who leapt the advertising hoardings to celebrate in front of the fans, leads Roma's all-time appearance and goalscoring charts but claimed levelling the goal record against his side's fiercest rivals was his most cherished mark. "I wanted (the record) so much. It is my most beautiful record," he told Sky Sport Italia. Totti did admit, though, that failure to win left a sour taste. Lazio were reduced to 10 men when Giuseppe Biava saw red on 69 minutes but the hosts failed to take advantage to leave them seventh, three points behind their city rivals. "I wanted the win," said Totti, who drew a sharp low save from Lazio goalkeeper Federico Marchetti following a free-kick routine late on. "We threw it away in the first half. Unfortunately we did not get into the game immediately and they put us under a lot of pressure." Roma did ride their luck and could have been 2-0 down early in the second half only for Hernanes to put a penalty over the crossbar. "Hernanes' miss changed the game and we did better after that," Totti said. The Argentine international came off the bench to fire in the winning goal after a weaving run across the United box leaving defenders trailing in his wake. Milner said: "He is not bad is he? He is so sharp when you get him in around the box, him and Carlos (Tevez) together up front. "We train with them every day. I was speaking to Joleon (Lescott) who says he loves playing against them in training because he knows when he plays against anyone else in the league it is an easier day. "He is so sharp around the box. His composure and his finish at the end was superb. It gave us a deserved win. "Maybe the title is a bit out of reach now, but that changes nothing to us - whether it is or it isn't. It is still mathematically possible. "All our concentration is on winning every game from now until the end of the season. Hopefully that will get us at least one trophy." The Brazilian goalkeeper joined Rangers last summer from Inter Milan and has been one of the few players to come out of their relegation-threatened campaign with any credit. The 33-year-old has produced a strong of top-level displays and even earned a recall to the national side, during his time at Loftus Road. Recent weeks have seen him linked with a possible move to AC Milan, should QPR lose their battle against relegation. But Cesar has suggested that he would not look to move back to Italy. "I'm enamoured by Italy, but England has really won me over. I like everything here: the stadiums, the people," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport "The supporters are incredible, if a player has the opportunity to play in the Premier he must go, it is an exciting experience." Cesar insists that he has not accepted that QPR are going down, continuing: "As long as we have hope, then I will too, although I know the difficulties of the situation. "We have taken eleven new players, it takes time to create a group. But Harry Redknapp is doing a good work." Cesar has been quoted that he has no clause in his contract, but he has revealed where he sees his future. "I have clear ideas for my future: I want to stay in the Premier League, I want to win the Confederations Cup and I want to win the World Cup."
