Christian Pulisic Passes 100-Goal Landmark As AC Milan Beat 10-Man Slavia Prague

Christian Pulisic scored one goal and assisted another on Thursday night as AC Milan cruised into the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa League.

Milan won 3-1 away at Slavia Prague to wrap up a 7-3 victory on aggregate following last week's 4-2 triumph in Italy.

Slavia's hopes of turning the tie around were dashed just 20 minutes into the second leg when Tomas Holes was shown a straight red card for a dangerous foul on Davide Calabria.

Pulisic then fired Milan 1-0 up on the night with a composed finish from 12 yards. The American took two sharp touches with his right foot before finding the net with his left following an assist by Rafael Leao.

This was the 100th goal contribution (goals + assists) of Pulisic's senior club career.

He had now scored 56 goals and provided 44 assists in 310 appearances for Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea and Milan.

Another former Chelsea player, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, scored to make it 2-0 to Milan three minutes later.

Pulisic then moved onto 101 club goal contributions when he was credited with an assist for Leao's 10th goal of the season in added time at the end of the first half

But this goal was all about Leao. He was 30 yards out when he collected Pulisic's pass before whipping a stunning long-range shot into the top corner.

Pulisic was subbed off midway through the second half but Leao completed the full 90 minutes.

Matej Jurasek pulled a goal back for Slavia in the 84th minute but it was too little, too late.
