Cristiano Ronaldo will be staying at Juventus until at least the end of the 2021/22 campaign, according to Sky Sports.

Ronaldo has enjoyed a glittering three years in Turin, but speculation over his future has intensified over recent months.

There were first suggestions that the Portuguese superstar could depart amid fears that Juventus would miss out on Champions League qualification.

However, even after Juve secured a fourth-place finish and Massimiliano Allegri returned, Ronaldo was still being linked with a move away from the club.

As per Sky Sports, though, Ronaldo will be going nowhere this summer, and will be informed of that upon returning to Juventus training today.

The report notes that Ronaldo’s €30M-a-year contract is due to expire next summer, so only then will the veteran be provided with the opportunity to move on.

In truth, it’s difficult to envisage who could afford to sign him this summer, so perhaps another year at Juventus is the best option on the table for CR7.
