Fiorentina captain Biraghi: This cycle began with Astori

Cristiano Biraghi is proud to lead Fiorentina to the Coppa Italia final.

The Viola captain highlighted the late Davide Astori as he prepared for tonight's final with Inter Milan.

He said, "It's a pride, because it all starts with Davide (Astori). We started a new cycle together, with the aim of returning to the levels Fiorentina were in before.

"Then he passed away and I, Pezzella and Badelj promised to carry on with his goals.

"The group is important, two finals in a year mean a series of important things.

"One is definitely compactness and everyone rowing on the same side. With certain components you get to make two finals."
