Fiorentina captain Cristiano Biraghi says they can be proud of their performance in defeat to Inter Milan in the Coppa Italia final
Fiorentina had the lead through Nico Gonzalez before Lautaro Martinez struck twice for Inter's 2-1 win.
Biraghi said: "Congratulations to them, I shook hands with (Hakan) Calhanoglu at the end of the match, when I lived in Milan we lived close. I wished them to win the Champions League, they wished us to win in Prague".
"It hurts, above all because I think the gap is wide but today we shortened it as much as possible. We must be proud, I told my teammates: I know it's difficult to accept defeats, we gave everything and there could be some mistakes, but we showed great spirit.
"I'm very confident about Prague. Many of us hadn't played in a final and doing it at this level against a world-class team we didn't expect it. It must give us confidence for the next final."
