Manchester United Women are looking to make history today by lifting their first-ever major trophy.

They’re well on their way to doing so, too, as the Red Devils lead Tottenham Hotspur 3-0 in the FA Cup final at Wembley with just over half an hour left to play.

Ella Toone opened the scoring in stoppage time of the first half with a scintillating strike, and two quickfire goals have United in cruise control thanks to Rachel Williams and Lucia Garcia.

A free-kick from skipper Katie Zelem was met by Williams in the box after she was able to rise above everybody else to head home into the bottom corner and make it 2-0.

Just three minutes later, Garcia capitalised on a grave mistake from Spurs’ goalkeeper Rebecca Spencer, intercepting a lazy pass and slotting it swiftly into the back of the net.
