More than two-dozen people filed into a two-story bus on a sunny Monday afternoon in Manhattan. One person was wearing a New York Red Bulls jersey, another a US men's national team jersey, and there was even someone sporting Didier Drogba's Chelsea kit.
And while all these people may have different allegiances in terms of which soccer teams they support, they shared something in common.
They were not boarding just any bus; they were on the FOX Soccer MVP tour bus, which was about to take them on a tour of New York City while airing the Euro 2012 Group D opener between European heavyweights England and France.
There were supporters from both sides and predictions on who would win were evenly split. The friendly banter and smack talking that was shared before the game carried over during the match, but things got a bit more serious when England took the lead.
