Fulham's goal scoring woes are a thing of the past after a 4-3 defeat to Liverpool.

That is the view of defender Tim Ream, who was pleased to see his side score six times in two matches.

However, he did add that the Cottagers must improve on their defending in some aspects.

"To let it slip away like we did, it was right there at our fingertips," said Ream post-game.

"To not come away with, at minimum, a point is frustrating. We were sitting in [the dressing room] thinking of what could have been."

"In the first eight of nine games, you are wondering where the goals are coming from," added Ream.

"When you're not scoring the way we did last season and then you get two great goals from open play, one almost a carbon copy of one against Wolves, you see that you are doing the right things, getting in the right positions.

"That's important for us to recognise. The finishes are starting to happen, the goals are coming, and that is a good way to look at things."
