How Ibrahimovic is ‘dictating the agenda of the new Milan’

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is enjoying increasing power at AC Milan in his new role and could soon be the major voice of authority when it comes to the direction of the club.

As has been reported by Tuttosport (via Milan News), the Swede could have a lot of power when it comes to the summer transfer window which was not originally expected when he became a special advisor between Milan and RedBird Capital Group.

He seems to have become Gerry Cardinale’s right-hand man, with the RedBird owner talking in the past about how Ibrahimovic is able to be his ‘man in Milan’, providing insight about the daily happenings at the club whilst being a figure that everyone respects.

Ibrahimovic is expected to have a lot of control this summer alongside Geoffrey Moncada when it comes to new signings in what is a very important window.

He has also put forward Jovan Kirovski for a management role which seems close to completion, and he will also have some sway over the future of Stefani Pioli and any potential replacement.

The responsibilities that he has make him a powerful figure in Milan’s future, and his job title is now something of a mystery.
