Idea of former Chelsea player’s return to the club 'has been floated' for this summer

Chelsea are currently looking to make some big decisions this summer ahead of recruiting two or three more players.

It’s pretty clear that they lack a true number nine in the ranks and have been missing that profile of striker this season, finding goals hard to come by. So they will be searching for a this kind of player and are looking at a wide number of options, once of which is re-signing former Blues forward Tammy Abraham from Roma.

According to sources at Si & Dan Talk Chelsea this week, the idea of a Tammy Abraham return has been floated by one or two at Chelsea.

Chelsea have an option to sign him back for around £65m this summer, but the report believes he might be gettable for a fee closer to £40m.

There are apparently one or two in the Chelsea ranks who are advising that Abraham is looked at, due to ticking many of the boxes they need.
