Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi expressed his intention to register his team’s 30th Serie A win of the season after hammering Frosinone on Friday night.

The Nerazzurri already sealed the Scudetto title a few weeks ago with a historic victory over AC Milan.

Nevertheless, the manager and his players remain thirsty for more victories as they continue to aim for additional records.

Inter suffered a setback last weekend with the second defeat of the season at the hands of Sassuolo.

Therefore, Inzaghi’s men were eager to return to winning ways this evening, and do it in empathic fashion.

The Beneamata beat Frosinone by five unanswered goals away from home. Hence, the manager could only praise his team’s display.

“We played an excellent match from a technical point of view,” said the 48-year-old in his interview with Inter TV via FcInterNews.

“We risked a bit more than usual, but we wanted to return to victories and managed to do so.

“I’m lucky to have these players who always try to give their best. It’s not easy at the moment after winning a Scudetto with five matches to spare.

“We’re not training like before due to some ailments, we’re getting a few more days of rest. But I had excellent responses from everyone tonight.”

Inter Milan Coach Simone Inzaghi Gunning For 30th Serie A Win Of The Season

Inzaghi admits that aiming for records gives an important motivation for his team.

“Absolutely yes. These numbers stimulate us. Unfortunately, we lost in Sassuolo where we couldn’t score.

“But we want to reach our 30th win in Serie A this season. We have two games to do so.”

Inzaghi is looking forward to next weekend’s Scudetto ceremony at San Siro. But he insists the bus parade from two weeks ago will remain a unique experience.

“It will be a great satisfaction to lift the trophy. But the emotions we had after the win over Torino will be unparalleled, it will remain with me forever.
