Inter Milan vice-president Zanetti happy for Inzaghi as new contract talks planned

Inter Milan vice-president Javier Zanetti is delighted for coach Simone Inzaghi with the Scudetto within reach.

Inter can be confirmed champions with victory over AC Milan next week.

"I am very happy for what Simone is experiencing, since he arrived with us it was immediately clear that he is a person of great values," Zanetti told PiacenzaSera.it.

"He is someone with a lot passion for football and a lot of work culture and together with his staff this work is bearing fruit."

Inzaghi also stated yesterday: "Inter has given me a lot in these three years because we have made a great journey, we have grown together and the whole club has made this long journey. We have won a lot, we hope to win again.

"I'm fine, I have a strong club behind me, it's normal that at the end of the year we'll sit down and talk and there won't be any problems continuing this path."
