The right wing will be one of the main summer priorities for Inter, as they are struggling to come to terms with Denzel Dumfries, who’s generating interest especially in the Premier League, with Aston Villa reportedly the latest team to track him, La Gazzetta dello Sport informs.

The Nerazzurri value the Dutchman €30M. The fullback would like to join a top team if he left Milan. Therefore, it remains to be seen if he’d consider the Unai Emery-led squad even though they are on the precipice of qualifying for the Champions League.

Inter aren’t expected to keep Dumfries if he doesn’t renew his deal. Simone Inzaghi wouldn’t mind continue to lean on him, but the economic reasons should take precedence. They have added a new name to the shortlist of potential replacements, RB Salzburg’s Amar Dedic. His price tag is around €20M. It’s not easy to negotiate with his side.

The 21-year-old has scored five times and provided five assists this season. He has spent time in a few other Austrian clubs in the past. He has 13 caps with Bosnia and can play in multiple defensive roles.

Our Take on Inter, Dumfries, and Aston Villa

Tajon Buchanan faring well on the left, and Carlos Augusto as a braccetto, settles that debate and probably removes the need for a lefty center-back. They’ll be able to utilize most of the Dumfries windfall to sign his heir. The ideal one is a player as impactful as his best version in the final third.
