Italy coach Spalletti urged to make Di Lorenzo his captain

Italy coach Luciano Spalletti has been urged to make Giovanni Di Lorenzo his captain.

The Napoli skipper is close to his old coach.

Spalletti named Di Lorenzo club captain last year as they went onto win the Scudetto.

And agent Mario Giuffredi told Il Mattino: Spalletti knows what he will do for the captaincy, but if I were him, then Di Lorenzo would be a great choice.

Spalletti is a man who will revolutionise Italian football. The FIGC could not have chosen a better coach."
