Italy Icon Roberto Baggio Praises Inter Milan New Signing Davide Frattesi: 'He’s A Player I Like & Follow'

Inter Milan’s new boy Davide Frattesi has received praise of the highest order, with the iconic Roberto Baggio revealing himself as a fan of the midfielder.

The 23-year-old joined Simone Inzaghi’s ranks last month, making his transfer from Sassuolo. He completed an initial loan move with the obligation to buy.

The Italy international will now compete for a starting spot in a packed midfield department that contains the likes of Nicolò Barella, Hakan Calhanoglu and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

“The first is Tonali ‘s move to Newcastle, which I didn’t expect. Milan lose a lot without him.

“The other is Frattesi’s move to Inter, because He’s a player I like and follow. This is a great coup.”

The Divine Ponytail also offered his thoughts on this season’s title race.

“All the clubs have changed from last season. AC Milan and Inter Milan, in particular, have changed a lot.

“Napoli want to consolidate their spot on top while Juventus will be aiming for redemption. They will have the advantage of playing solely at the domestic level.”
