According to reports, Jose Mourinho is keen on returning to his old side Chelsea as he is not happy with the current situation at Roma. 

The Portuguese manager has already had two spells at Stamford Bridge, with two differing results.

He first joined the club in 2004 and was the leading manager of the new era of Chelsea football club and his stock couldn’t have been higher. He put together one of the greatest teams of the Premier League era and was considered a club legend when he inevitably left in 2008.

The ‘special one’ returned in 2013 but he wasn’t able to replicate the success of his first tenure, nine years previously. It turned into a bitter affair and he ended up getting fired before moving on to other league rivals.

He is currently managing Roma in Italy and although they are performing well, he is reportedly becoming frustrated with the team.

It is now rumoured that he is considering a move back to England, with his former side Chelsea at the top of his list.

The 60-year-old recently gave an interview with Sky Sports where he talked fondly about his old side.
