Olivier Giroud is expected to part ways with AC Milan at the end of the season and as a result, a new striker will be needed. However, according to a report, the Rossoneri could sign more than just one striker in the summer.

Giroud has reached an agreement with the MLS side LAFC, as per several reports, and will thus pack his bags at the end of the season. Although his miss against Roma is on everybody’s minds right now, he has been an important player and a strong No.9 is needed to replace him.

According to Daniele Longo in his latest article for Calciomercato.com, Milan are closely monitoring Kevin Denkey and his progress in the Belgian league. He has a price tag of €15m and could potentially arrive as a dedicated deputy, with a bigger name expected for the starting role.

As the report continues, the renewal of Luka Jovic is far from certain even though he’s done okay after the struggles at the start. Therefore, with Giroud’s exit certain and the Serbian potentially leaving as well, Milan could bring in two strikers this summer.

Denkey could be one of them, while Joshua Zirkzee remains the primary target for the position, per the report. Jovic is expected to start tomorrow and will surely try to convince the management to renew his contract.
