Juan Mata, the most expensive signing in Manchester United history, has only been at Old Trafford since January, still he feels that Caretaker Manager Ryan Giggs is the perfect man to take the helm of the Red Devilson a full-time basis. Giggsy was given the final four games of the season to lead United on an interim basis. David Moyes was sacked early morning this past Tuesday.
Giggs got off to a great start, beating Norwich City 4-0, with Juan Mata netting half the goals.
“If we speak about Ryan we speak about a Manchester United person,” Juan Mata is quoted by Sky Sports.
“He was very successful here as a player and now he is leading the team. We are all happy because who is better to do it?”
It’s widely expected that Giggs will not be given the job; despite the fact that the players all seem to want him. So does Sir Alex Ferguson, but given what a horrible mistake Fergie made with his last appointment (Moyes) I doubt he will giving his input. Nor should he.
