Felipe Anderson has taken his time to decide his future after receiving an offer from Juventus and a proposal for Lazio, which are in the same ballpark.

According to TuttoSport (via Fantacalcio), the Biancocelesti might table a final rise, but the Brazilian winger is leaning toward transferring to Turin. He’s attracted by the project and their prospect of playing in the Champions League.

Juventus will formalize their bid for Felipe Anderson once they clinch the qualification to the big-eared cup and aren’t sweating a potential counter-move by Lazio. The attacker has logged three goals and seven assists this season.

The 30-year-old is asking for €4M per year. Neither the Biancocelesti nor the Old Lady have offered him that much. If new suitors don’t come into the picture, he’ll have to settle for €3/3.5M annually.

Our Take on Lazio, Felipe Anderson, and Juventus

The determination with which the Bianconeri have been chasing him might be the biggest hint that they’ll move on from Massimiliano Allegri or at least want him to use a different scheme. The Brazilian wouldn’t really have a role in 3-5-2. Instead, a 4-3-3 would help Federico Chiesa, Kenan Yildiz, and Matias Soulé. Adding a dependable veteran to the mix would make more sense in that event.

One has to wonder whether the capital club will even pull their proposal at some point. They might be heading toward a substantial overhaul and have already found his heir in Gustav Tang Isaksen.
