According to reports, Juventus offered €20m cash plus the loan and potential option to buy for Matias Soulé and Samuel Iling-Junior for Sassuolo star Domenico Berardi, but it was rejected.

It is no secret that the Bianconeri made an approach for Berardi over the summer and that it failed to reach a breakthrough.

Now Tuttomercatoweb claim that the details behind the offer were more impressive than previously thought.

It is rumoured to be worth €20m in cash plus the loan of both striker Soulé and winger Iling-Junior, but Sassuolo turned it down.

After that, Juve were then prepared to discuss an option to buy one of those two players, with a buy-back clause for the Turin giants, but again Sassuolo held firm.

The Neroverdi had set the price-tag for Berardi at €35m in cash and would not accept player exchanges as part of the bid.

Instead, Soulé was loaned to Frosinone, where he has flourished this season with 10 goals and two assists in 21 Serie A appearances.

Iling-Junior remains at Juventus, while Berardi is out of action for at least a month with a serious injury.
