La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Atalanta‘s asking price for Teun Koopmeiners is close to €60m, which could favour Liverpool against Juventus unless the Bianconeri complete some big-money sales.

Juventus and Liverpool are interested in Koopmeiners, but the Reds could be favoured by La Dea’s asking price, which is around €60m.

Tuesday’s printed edition of the pink paper on page six claims the Serie A giants will need to complete at least a couple of big-money sales to afford the exciting Dutch midfielder whose agent was already approached by Liverpool intermediaries not long ago.

Koopmeiners: Atalanta price tag may favour Liverpool against Juventus

The likes of Matias Soulé and Dean Huijsen, currently on loan at Frosinone and Roma, respectively, have attracted interest from foreign clubs, so Juventus would be open to selling them to boost the budget for Koopmeiners.

Gleison Bremer is also seen as a possible big sale for Juventus, but if the Brazilian leaves, the Serie A giants would need to find a valuable replacement.

Football Italia transfer expert Matteo Moretto has reported that Koopmeiners’ priority is to remain in Serie A. However, a big-money offer from abroad would tempt both the 26-year-old and Atalanta.

Koopmeiners will start against Juventus tomorrow in the Coppa Italia Final at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
