Lazio striker Ciro Immobile reportedly offered himself to Inter as he explores a future away from the Italian capital.

The 34-year-old Italian forward has not had an easy season with the Biancocelesti, suffering from numerous minor injuries and poor form. As such, he’s netted just six goals across 25 league games and doubts have started to emerge regarding his future at the club.

Some Lazio fans are hoping for greater usage of Valentin Castellanos and the arrival of new coach Igor Tudor could shake things up at Formello. In recent weeks, reports emerged that Inter had started to sound out a possible move for Immobile.

As reported by Il Messaggero (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), Immobile is open to leaving Lazio in the summer and offered himself to Inter, trying to link back up with Simone Inzaghi. For now, the Nerazzurri have kept the door closed but things could change in the coming months.

The 34-year-old striker has a history of bouncing back during tough periods, so there is still hope that he’ll manage to turn things around in the final two months of the season.
