Lazio could reportedly break tradition and skip their pre-season training camp in Auronzo di Cadore this summer.

The Biancocelesti have been carrying out their pre-season preparations in the idyllic Veneto village for years now, gearing up for their campaigns in the tranquil environment. During the Maurizio Sarri era, things were no different.

Lazio are in the early stages of their new era under Igor Tudor, needing an important summer to prepare for a campaign where they’ll fight for a Champions League qualification spot. The coach’s contract expires in June 2025 and is linked to sporting results.

As reported by Il Messaggero (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), there’s less than 24 hours left on the agreement between Lazio and the Auronzo di Cadore municipal administration regarding the pre-season training camp.

An update is expected within the coming days, as the Biancocelesti would technically need to set up a new agreement with the local authorities if they do want to retreat to Auronzo this summer.
