Lazio midfielder Danilo Cataldi: I had to change perceptions here

Lazio midfielder Danilo Cataldi is delighted signing a new contract.

Cataldi has signed a new deal to 2027.

He told Lazio Style Radio: "The one with these colors is a bond that lasts over twenty years, it represents a piece of life, I hope to honour them in the best possible way.

"Playing with this shirt it was a dream, over time it became a goal. When I went away on loan I had the goal of returning, when this happened I wanted to change the mind of the insiders, who had misjudged the person.

"I didn't like it, I wanted to get rid of the doubt about these misperceptions and then eventually go away cleanly and luckily things have turned out for the best.

"Now I am a different footballer, I have had the opportunity to work with coaches who have experience and playing time on the pitch help along the way."
