Lazio midfielder Guendouzi tribute to AC Milan striker Giroud

Lazio midfielder Matteo Guendouzi has paid tribute to AC Milan striker Olivier Giroud.

Giroud struck for France last week, making it 13 consecutive years he has scored for Les Bleus.

Guendouzi told Telefoot: "He is a player who misses very few opportunities once in front of goal, so the statistics speak for themselves.

"He is a player who works a lot for the team and this time too he was rewarded."

Giroud scored the winner in the 3-2 defeat of Chile last week.
