Lazio and Mizuno have teased a special shirt commemorating the 50th anniversary of the club’s first Scudetto.

The Biancocelesti first won the Serie A title back in the 1973-74 season under Tommaso Maestrelli, a historic campaign featuring a squad containing club legends like Giorgio Chinaglia, Giuseppe Wilson and Luciano Re Cecconi.

Lazio’s second Scudetto came almost 30 years later under Sven Goran Eriksson, who guided the club to the league title in the 1999–2000 season, when a team made up of figures like Roberto Mancini, Juan Sebastian Veron and Alessandro Nesta secured glory.

As reported by Il Messaggero (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), Lazio will wear a special shirt commemorating the 50th anniversary of that first Scudetto win, likely in their coming clash with Empoli on May 11.

The shirt will be light blue with a white V-neck and a special message written on the inside. The numbers will be in gold and the names of the players in the squad will be embroidered on.
