Leao and Giroud ‘blossom’ together as Milan seek strong finish

AC Milan forward Olivier Giroud and Rafael Leao are blossoming into the best version of themselves towards the end of the season as the Rossoneri go looking for a strong finish.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (as seen below), Milan have found themselves in superb form in 2024 and the increased impact of Leao and Giroud is a big part of that.

It is no secret that Leao and Giroud have been two of the most important players at Milan for the past three seasons and when they are playing well, the team tends to play well.

Leao has struggled for the bulk of this season but is looking like his former self now. He got a goal and an assist in the win over Fiorentina and then netted the third against Lecce on Matchday 31.

Giroud also scored in the win against Lecce and whilst his form has remained good this season, he will no doubt benefit from Leao finding his feet again.

Milan need these two players to be at their best for the rest of the season if they are to win the Europa League and finish as close to Inter as possible in the Serie A table.
