Liverpool legend Gerrard: Klopp deserves a statue

Al-Ettifaq coach Steven Gerrard says Liverpool should build a trophy of Jurgen Klopp.

Klopp leaves as Liverpool manager after nine years on Sunday.

Former Reds captain Gerrard said: "I remember sitting and thinking: 'I would give any money and do anything to play in Klopp's team for a year'.

"For heaven's sake, I hope they build a statue of him. I hope it's almost ready. I think he deserves to have a statue of him at the club.

"If we talk about all the managers who have achieved huge success at Liverpool, he will be among the best."
