According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Lazio President Claudio Lotito has scheduled a meeting with Felipe Anderson’s agent in an attempt to block the Brazilian winger’s free transfer to Juventus.

Felipe Anderson’s contract at the Stadio Olimpico runs out in the summer and talks with Juventus are already at an advanced stage.

However, the Brazilian winger has not yet put pen to paper on a contract with the Old Lady so Lazio will make a final attempt to keep him at the club beyond the summer.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Lotito has called the player’s agent and sister, Juliana Gomes, to schedule a meeting at Formello before Saturday’s game against Juventus at the Stadio Olimpico.

Corriere dello Sport claims Felipe Anderson has demanded a €3.5m-a-year salary, which Lotito can match with add-ons. According to the report, the difference between Lazio’s offer and Felipe Anderson’s request is circa €1m per season, but the length of the new contract must also be discussed.

Juventus and Lazio will meet three times in less than a month in Serie A and Coppa Italia, while the Biancocelesti will try to persuade their star to snub a free transfer to the Allianz Stadium in the summer.
