Man City boss Guardiola happy with new Carson deal

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is delighted Scott Carson has decided to play on next season.

The 37 year-old goalkeeper has penned a new 12 month deal this week.

Carson said, "We are happy to have him in the dressing room and you cannot understand how big an influence he has.

"We are very happy that he has chosen to extend his contract."

Carson joined City in the summer of 2019.

Since then, the goalkeeper has made two appearances in the club's first team.
