The Daily Star Sunday broke the news three months ago that £50million Uruguay star Edinson Cavani was a major summer target for United. Three weeks ago they revealed that MUFC hope PSG will be interested in taking Portugal’s Nani, 27, as part of the deal. And today, according to the Daily Mirror Edinson Cavani is ready to be part of the Manchester United revolution, despite the Old Trafford side missing out on the Champions League. Before Wayne Rooney signed his extension with Manchester United, there was talk that Edison Cavani could be his replacement at Old Trafford. ESPN FC had a really saucy rumor on their blog about the Red Devils planning a bold move  for the striker. With Wayne Rooney locked up, and Chicharito probably not going anywhere (After all they have Javier Hernandez as a poster boy their summer exhibition tour), Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani is probably now a replacement for Robin Van Persie. Even though David Moyes has hinted that RVP will get a new deal as well. Well obviously, Moyesie isn’t in charge anymore. Anyways, Edinson Cavani is still at the top of the United wish list. The Uruguay goal-scoring machine set to become the new Old Trafford hero.  Cavani is definitely thought to be the most attainable of all the names on the Red Devils summer shopping list. Paul M.
