Although speculation in recent weeks has cooled, Manchester United have been one of the clubs heavily linked with a summer move for Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic.

Milenkovic, 23, joined Fiorentina in 2017 following a £4.6m move from Partizan.

Since his arrival in Italy’s top-flight, the highly-rated defender has gone on to feature in 133 matches, in all competitions.

Despite being just 23-years-old, the commanding Serbia international has emerged as one of Europe’s most sought after centre-backs.

Heavily linked with some of Europe’s biggest clubs, including Inter Milan and Juventus, Milenkovic certainly appears to be a man in demand.

In light of the strong interest being shown in the defender, club side Fiorentina are reportedly prepared to sanction a summer move for between just £12.7m and £15.4m.

That’s according to Italian outlet Calciomercato, who are reporting that Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri is a big admirer of the 23-year-old and may be open to a player exchange deal that would see Merih Demiral move the other way.
