Manchester United lost very badly to Manchester City in the Manchester Derby. Now there is a second Manchester Derby going on. Both clubs are interested in acquiring midfielder Andres Iniesta.
Iniesta is in the midst of new contract talks at Barcelona.
Fox Sports soccer reported the rumor citing the Daily Express newspaper
Born in Fuentealbilla 11 May 1984 the Spain international has not agreed to an extension to his current deal at the Nou Camp. And talks have supposedly stalled, meaning there’s a very significant chance that he’ll be moved to one of the Manchester clubs during the upcoming transfer window in January.
Of course, rumors of his leaving Espana for one of the Manchester clubs are still premature at this point, with the player having spent his entire career with the Catalan futbol club.
However, the fact that he hasn’t been able to strike a new deal does mean quite a bit.
