Tottenham has turned its attention towards Marcelo Bielsa and Rafa Benitez in their search for a new manager.

The Lilywhites fired Jose Mourinho just before the Carabao Cup final and they will name a new permanent boss before next season.

Ryan Mason has been given the job on an interim basis until the end of the season but they will soon replace the 29-year-old.

Spurs’ search hasn’t been overly successful as they missed out on the likes of Julian Nagelsmann who is joining Bayern Munich and Brendan Rodgers who wants to remain at Leicester City.

Football Insider says they are now looking to appoint a manager with good experience and that has brought Benitez and Bielsa onto their radar.

Benitez has been unattached since the start of this year after he left his last job in China.

The Spaniard has won the Champions League, La Liga, UEFA Cup and the Europa League among other trophies.

Bielsa has seen his Leeds team play some of the best football in the Premier League this season.

They have earned some impressive results and are also set to finish inside the top half of the league table.

He has the reputation for managing top teams in the world and he might become the manager that turns Spurs into a results machine.
