Tottenham bested Napoli in the race to acquire Radu Dragusin in January, but the center-back hasn’t played much since moving to the Premier League. The Partenopei are considering reigniting their interest and trying to bring him back to the Serie A, Tuttomercatoweb informed.

The 22-year-old has appeared just seven times since his winter switch, logging a total of 244 minutes. He was signed for €25M for Genoa. The Spurs surprisingly defeated Bayern Munich as the player wanted to move to the Premier League.

Despite his slow introduction, Tottenham see Dragusin as a promising talent for the future and won’t give him away for cheap, so Napoli and other potential suitors would have to tender more than what they paid to add him to have a shot.

His agent Florin Manea recently slammed coach Ange Postecoglou to Radio CRC (via GSP)

“He said many times that he didn’t want to use a three-man defense, but that would help them since they allow many goals. They also concede a lot on set plays. He’d be very useful due to his power in the air. If he doesn’t play, then we have to think about other solutions. Though, he only arrived in January, so that seems unlikely right now.”

Our Take on Dragusin, Tottenham, and Napoli

It’s odd he hasn’t found room right away since he’s tailor-made for the Premier League. The Spurs probably won’t be hasty, but a few sides should go after him if he becomes available at a reasonable price tag.
