Napoli have earmarked Johan Bakayoko and Jens Cajuste to plug a pair of holes. They’ll have to sign a new winger once Hirving Lozano departs. Instead, they have been searching for a midfielder to substitute Tanguy Ndombélé.

According to Sportitalia, the Partenopei gathered intel on the PSV winger and Edon Zhegrova in particular to replenish their right flank. Their price tag is about €10M. Riccardo Orsolini has lost pace because Bologna’s request is too high. Despite previous reports, Jesper Lindstrom isn’t a target at this stage.

Per DAZN, Lozano has reached an agreement on personal terms with Los Angeles FC. Napoli are waiting for a formal offer and want €20M, which would facilitate their pursuits of Bakayoko and Cajuste.

The 20-year-old attacker tallied 9 goals and 6 assists in 39 matches across all competitions in 2022/2023. Instead, the budding midfielder joined Reims from Midtjylland in January 2002. He has hit the net 6 times in 42 games in the past 18 months.

They can afford to roll the dice in these two positions as the newcomers would come in to deputize veterans initially. Instead, it’s a different matter as it pertains to their new much-needed center-back.
