Newcastle midfielder Longstaff: I can't get distracted by England talk

Newcastle midfielder Sean Longstaff insists he's unaware of England talk.

Longstaff has been mentioned as a candidate for England's next squad.

But he said at yesterday's Champions League presser: "I've not spoken to my dad or brother about it! So I'm really not aware of the talk!

"I look at that England group and see top level players who have been there for a long time. I work next to (Kieran) Trippier and he's the pinnacle of our team. It's not really something I think about.

"It's just focusing on Newcastle and playing as well as I can here."
