Newcastle United will need Sean Longstaff to chip in with goals in the coming weeks.

That is the view of Jamie Redknapp, who outlined the issue manager Eddie Howe faces at present.

In the absence of Alexander Isak and Callum Wilson, Newcastle are lacking fire power.

After they lost 2-0 to Bournemouth, Redknapp outlined the problem.

He told Sky Sports: "The reason why we highlighted Sean Longstaff is when you don't have the goals of Alexander Isak and Callum Wilson, you need someone who is going to hit the box and in those areas.

He is going through those moments where he is sort of jogging there and then he decides to sprint.

"With this opportunity, if he had decided to sprint earlier he would have got on the end of that and had a tap-in. They have made it hard for themselves but you have to credit Bournemouth for that."
